Traditional Fish cakes

Fish cakes are a traditional Icelandic dish and have always been very popular. The fish cakes from Grimur Kokkur are delicious and many customers have said that they remind them of their mother‘s old recipie. Try our fantastic fish cakes and you won‘t be dissappointed. The fish cakes are fully cooked and only need to be re-heated in an oven or on a pan.

Heating method: Heat the oven to 180°C place the cakes on an oven tray and heat for 8 – 10 minutes.

Grímur kokkur suggests: Serve with boiled potatoes, salad and a brown sauce, with or without onion.



Cod (75%), onion, spice blend (flour, potato starch, salt, lactose, aroma, spices (pepper, celery, curcuma), sunflower oil, garlic, onion, anti caking agent (E551)), wheat fibre, egg (preservative (E211), acid (E330)). Fried in Rapeseed oil.
